Ladies of
Harley
Ladies
of Harley is a program sponsored by the Harley Owners Group (HOG) to
support women motorcycle enthusiasts. Any woman who is an Eastside
HOG® member can join, regardless of whether you have a full,
associate or lifetime membership. It doesn’t matter if you ride your
own Harley, recline on the back of one, or simply provide ‘backup’
support for your partner on their Harley; you are invited to be a
part of our group. There is no cost to join and in return you get to
enjoy fantastic outings, lots of laughs as well as lasting
friendships! We hope you’ll come join us and see what we’re all
about!
To
become a member of our chapter, simply join the National LOH at
http://www.harley-davidson.com/
and update your profile to
include LOH membership. Once you complete that, visit ES HOG’s
membership page to download & complete the forms and submit to the
Membership Officer.

History
of Female Riders
A look
through the personal collections of riders from the past shows that
women have always been a part of the Harley-Davidson family. Early
Motor Company advertising photos frequently featured women in
genteel garb, posing with the latest motorcycles. Even more evidence
of the strong part women have played in shaping the sport of
motorcycling can be found in the accounts and photos from personal
collections. As early as the 1910’s, female riders did everything
the men did, from long-distance rides to enjoying lazy Sunday
afternoon rides with friends. |

Meetings
Eastside HOG LOH meetings are held on the first Thursday of each
month.
Meeting starts at 6:30 PM. Arrive early if you want to have
dinner. Check the HOG
activities calendar for the location and any changes.
