Chapter Ride led by Eric Shields

Event date:
Sat, 04/30/2022 - 11:30am

April showers bring May mileage - let's ride!!

We'll have a gas stop in Darrington on the way north (to stretch the legs after 90 minutes of riding). From there to the photo op, and onto lunch.

Heading up to the west entrance to North Cascades National Park, we'll stop to take photos of the entrance sign so folks can get an entry into the national HOG 50 rides, 1 nation program. All that's needed is the member, a current HOG publication, and the destination. Motorcycles DO NOT need to be in the photo, thus making it easier to get people through the process.

Ride will take approximately six hours, including a lunch stop in Sedro-Wooley. Lunch will be around 3 PM, after riding, so bring along some snacks and water as needed to tide you over after doughnuts at the chapter meeting.

Eric carries a current 2022 Membership Guide; if anyone else has a copy of the 2022 Enthusiast magazine or 2022 Membership Guide, bring it along to speed up the photos.

Barring the unforeseeable, this is a clean route without any issues (i.e., sand in the road, snow on the shoulders). If the weather is decent we can expect traffic. Riders should be comfortable at highway speeds for periods of time.

Any questions, contact Eric @ [email protected] or talk at the chapter meeting.

After lunch we'll ride south and members can peel off to head home as they choose.
