The Brick Saloon

Welcome to Roslyn Washington and The Brick Saloon. It’s claimed that The Brick is the oldest operating saloon in Washington State. It was built in 1898-1899 by Peter Giovanini, who also served two terms as Roslyn's mayor. Forty-five thousand Roslyn-made red bricks were required for the construction of the saloon. It has a 100 year old bar from England and a 23’ running water spittoon.  As a side note about the once well-populated mining town of Roslyn, it was the filming location for much of the 1990-1995 hit TV series, Northern Exposure.

The monthly challenge is a local (or not) place that you ride to every month. Everyone who makes the trek has their name put into a drawing. The drawing is pulled at the monthly chapter meeting and the winner gets an Eastside Harley Gift Card. While winning a giftcard is cool, having an excuse to get out and ride by yourself or with others to a place you've never been is priceless.
