Subscribing to the Eastside HOG Calendar

📅 How to Subscribe to the Eastside HOG Calendar

You can add our chapter calendar directly to your preferred calendar app. It will stay up‑to‑date automatically. Use the Subscribe button att the bottom of the calendar page to copy the subscription link (webcal://www.eshog.com/calendar/feed).

Below are instructions for Outlook, Google Calendar, and Apple Calendar.

🟦 Outlook (Desktop or Web)

Outlook on the Web

1. Open Outlook in your browser.
2. Go to Calendar.
3. On the left sidebar, select Add calendar.
4. Choose Subscribe from web.
5. Paste the webcal://www.eshog.com/calendar/feed link.
6. Give it a name (e.g., Eastside HOG Calendar).
7. Click Import.

Outlook Desktop (Windows/Mac)

1. Open Outlook.
2. Go to File → Account Settings → Account Settings.
3. Open the Internet Calendars tab.
4. Click New…
5. Paste the webcal://www.eshog.com/calendar/feed link.
6. Click Add, then name the calendar.
7. Click OK.

🟩 Google Calendar

Google does not support webcal:// directly — but it works if you replace it with https://.

1. Copy the subscription link.
2. Replace the beginning of the link:
3. Change webcal://www.eshog.com/calendar/feed → https://www.eshog.com/calendar/feed
4. Open Google Calendar in a browser.
5. On the left, click + next to Other calendars.
6. Select From URL.
7. Paste the modified link.
8. Click Add calendar.

Google will now sync it automatically (though updates may take a few hours to propagate).

🍎 Apple Calendar (Mac, iPhone, iPad)

Mac

1. Open the Calendar app.
2. In the menu bar, choose File → New Calendar Subscription…
3. Paste the webcal://www.eshog.com/calendar/feed.
4. Click Subscribe.
5. Choose a name, color, and refresh frequency.
6. Click OK.

iPhone / iPad

1. Copy the webcal://www.eshog.com/calendar/feed link.
2. Open Settings → Calendar → Accounts.
3. Tap Add Subscribed Calendar.
4. Paste the link.
5. Tap Next, then Save.
